My Blog

Thanks for reading

The end of this blog!

Well, my babies, after getting married and being in Jamaica for a week, it really changed me.  I don’t really want to keep a blog up anymore.  I want to spend more time doing other things, as I stated in my last post.  So this weekend, if I get enough time, I will start to design a new site.

It will be simple, maybe 2-3 pages in total.  I will also start taking very small graphic and web design jobs, things that I can complete over a weekend.  I really enjoy designing stuff, and I enjoy coding simple things, like CSS, Javascript and XHTML.  I will not take any large jobs at all like blogs, or things that are involved with a database unless they are very, very simple.

Blogging, I think is best left to people that really have something to say.  I’m bored with it, not only for myself, I’m also bored with other people’s blogs. I will be spending more time with Amanda and my friends and family, or at least doing other things when I’m on the internet.  So peace out homies.  See you on the flip-side.  Thanks for the memories.

Are you taking on html/css -> wordpress jobs?

I don’t think so. I find it a bit time consuming designing a blog because you have to take in so many considerations for what may happen if a user does this or that, etc. on top of the fact that you have to test for cross browser compatibility. In other words, I’ll spend a little too much time coding stuff.

I just find static sites more fun to make because it’s easier. I can spend more time making sure things look cool rather than making sure things don’t fall apart. I already have a good ‘day job’ so I will just be doing this as a fun side project, not so I can stress more.

I would consider assisting others with WP themes or help though, since I happen to know my way around WP pretty well.

The future is wide open, anything is possible…

@ Cassandra: I’m 29 years old, so, if you’re 21, either I had you when I was 8, or you’ve got the wrong Paul Johns. Or you’re someone I know, and this is a joke, in which case, hahahahahahahahahHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! (sighs)

What if you have to say something? make a point to the world about something? Blogging is a weapon in disguise my friend :-) .Use it to express your views and comment on a fellow blogger’s foolishness!. I don’t think i have persuaded you to keep this blog alive? Did i? hehe

  6. Paul says:

No you didn’t, my friend, but’s it’s a nice try! My next project is to make a new, static, possibly one or two page web site. Lately, I’ve been too lazy and uninspired to do so, but one day I will make something, then send it to all the CSS galleries and cross my fingers. Be on the lookout, true believers!
