Yesterday when I woke up I noticed through a comment made on this site that a web site called Coolstop honored me with being their Daily Pick for yesterday. That was really an honor that someone else out there recognized my efforts here at this site. That’s always good news.

The last two days were pretty cool. I didn’t do much except mess with this web site, watch a lot of The Office, and play a little Halo 2. I also ate and bathed. And slept. A lot.

I also worked on those free icons I keep going on about. I finished forty-four of them so far. They are basic, two-dimensional 16×16 pixel icons that are monochromatic. Nothing to write home about, but probably useful to someone out in the world. I’m not sure how many I’m going to make all in all, maybe fifty, maybe one hundred. Right now, I’m going to have to go with fifty. I will most likely release these icons sometime this week. Maybe even tonight after I get done posting this, but not likely.

I tried out Last.fm tonight, but it was a no go. I installed the software, but it wouldn’t update their service. I went through their help files, and did everything they said to do, but to no avail. It just wasn’t meant to be I suppose. I want something fast and easy that will update something on the web with what I’m listening to so I can link to it, or show a list of it on this site in real time. Is that so much to ask for? Oh yeah, and I use Windows Media Player for listening to music. Maybe that has something to do with it.

Well, I leave you now to either go watch Wolfen, which I’ve had from Blockbuster Video Online for the longest time or maybe to work on some icons, or just surf the web for cool stuff.
