Hello everyone. As Tone Lōc once said in a commercial for Schlitz Malt Liquor Bull, “Something very cool goin’ on.” The “something very cool” to which I am referring in this case is the fact that I plan on adding graphics to this web site blog, and yes, that includes adding some color, which I am very excited about.

I’m happy with the way this site is laid out. I feel that it is simple and accessible and easy to navigate. I’m adding graphics for a few reasons, which are: to make the site look cooler, and to give visual cues to the user to allow easier navigation, such as adding embellishment to the headers so users can quickly identify the various sections on each page.

So far, I haven’t made any Photoshop mock ups, but I have been inspired by some stuff on other sites, like on SuperfluousBanter, where Dan Rubin has the main navigation and the search bar pushed up to the very top of the page. I’d like to do something like that, but only if it flows well with the site. When all is said and done, and if everything turns out looking nice, I will then submit my site to some CSS galleries and get a decent little boost of traffic, hopefully.

This week at work has really sucked, so I haven’t really had the energy to do much after work. However, the turmoil in my personal life seems to be slowly calming down, so I am likely to be working on this site this weekend, which for me is Friday and Saturday.

So hold your breath, something amazing is coming, and it will definitely make you use the bathroom in your pants, or your money back!
