I went one day without blogging. Wow.
Well, the last two days were kind of crazy. I will spare you the gory details, but I had to get a test done at the hospital today. Everything is fine and dandy, and there’s nothing wrong with me, but to prepare for the test, I had to go without eating for a day. On top of that, I got about 4 hours of sleep in the last two days before the test, so that I was nice and stressed out, which was evident when the nurse took my blood pressure. After the test was over, I ate a foot long sub from Subway, then went directly to bed and slept for a few hours. Now I’m up, and ready to go to work tomorrow. Whew.
Lately, this new blog layout is really starting to grow on me. I’ve gotten a little feedback from Amanda and one of my friends, but no one else from the web. I think I am just going to refine things continually until I am satisfied, but I believe that this is the final layout for this site. Either way, for a person who loves to design, the design is never ‘perfect’ I suppose. Oh well, at least now I feel like the page size is put to better use, and I’m sure I’ll get some good inspiration after the May 1st Reboot. I’ll start tweaking again tomorrow when I get home from work, unless I have a friend over, then it will wait until the next night.
Something else that has been eating at me lately is that I want to give readers value and grow my reader base (once I’m finally ‘done’ changing the site layout), but I’m not sure what a good way to go about doing that is. If anyone reading this has any ideas, please let me know. I read this article at Chitika.com tonight, and found it somewhat useful, but at the same time, I have questions and concerns of my own on the future of this blog, like what the focus will be and why would someone want to visit. On the other hand, I am still having a lot of fun on the journey to figure this out. It’s like a psychological puzzle on a global scale.
Well, I think I’m gonna play a little Halo 2, then hit the sack. Goodnight.
